With a legacy of over 5 decades – MSR Consultants was founded by Late Shri M. S. Rama Rao (Mooganayakanakote Subbanna Rama Rao) , who began his professional career with Mysore Tobacco Company as a Field Supervisor and later retired in 1969 as the Technical Officer .
Driven by a deep passion for accounting and taxation, MS Rama Rao simultaneously extended his expertise to wholesale grocery merchants in Bangalore-an initiative that laid the foundation for MSR Consultants in 1969. He earned a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, professional services to small and medium-sized business groups, helping them comply with the statutory requirements of the Commercial Tax Department. His work encompassed handling sales tax assessments, return filings, check-post matters, and a wide range of sales tax cases, a commitment he maintained until his passing in November 1998.
Through his passion for the profession, coupled with hard work, dedication, and sincerity, MSR Consultants grew over four decades to serve many prestigious clients not only in Bangalore but across the country. Today, the legacy established by M. S. Rama Rao is carried forward by his family members, who continue on the path he laid down, with his values and vision remaining the enduring guiding force behind the organization's growth.
